Our Signature Programs

Season-Long Productions

  • Our full production seasons typically run Fall through Spring (in accordance with the school year). Your child will rehearse with us 1 to 2 times per week and is expected in attendance every day during the week leading up to the performances (otherwise known as “tech week”).

WCT prides itself in providing individualized attention to our students as well as fully realized and professional quality performances, where your child will act, sing, and dance on stage with professional lighting, costuming, and set design!

Although telling a story through musical productions ends in a magnificent show, we use each rehearsal along the way to develop each actor’s craft. At every rehearsal, transferable skills in acting, singing, and dancing are sharpened! Students are taught that the process and product are of equal value, and are given the space to discover where creativity thrives!

  • Included in the cost of tuition:

    • all materials (script, mp3 song files for student rehearsal)

    • cast t-shirt

    • professional photography and videography of performance

    • costume(s)

...and over 65 hours of theatre instruction in acting, voice, and dance!

Workshops

  • Our workshops will be open to anyone who is interested! Participation in one of our shows will not be a requirement in order to register.

Each workshop is designed to inspire. Get excited for sessions such as:

The staff at WCT is committed to giving your children a professional theatre experience. Take a minute to read our particpation expectations.

We take equitable casting seriously.

WCT’s programs are generally broken up by age and grade level (exceptions can be made by the discretion of the staff on what group best fits the individual needs of the child). Children will be cast in roles which the staff feel are appropriate for their physical, mental and emotional development/capabilities. We place children and teens in roles where they are set up to succeed. We want every child to shine and feel that they have had nothing short of a positive experience. We ask that parents support our staff in each casting decision. Parents have an important role in creating a nurturing and positive environment for their child’s theatrical experience. If you are excited, they will be even more excited!

Just like traditional sports, we need each and every player to be a part of the team. Kids will grow in leaps and bounds from this experience socially and emotionally. Theatre is not only confidence building but community building. Actors will walk away with more of a familial feel than most other “after school activities.”

Thank you so much for your support and being part of our team!

Don’t cry! Everybody is essential in telling the story.
